Burn the Carpet

Early in 1993, in Auckland, New Zealand, a small group of people moved into an old jewelry factory to conduct their church services. After cleaning the building, they were left with a pile of dust, which someone had the good sense to take to a gold refinery, where it yielded $8,500 in gold dust! When the refinery asked if they could burn the carpet, the church group gave them a piece, which was 12 feet square. It produced $3,500 worth of gold. They also vacuumed $350 worth of gold dust from the ceiling. We are nothing but dust that God has saved and separated. He knows that the heat of fiery trials will separate the dirt from things of great value. The fire produces in us that which is precious in His sight, so that we are then fit for the Master's use. And use us He will... if we are willing. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.
